Waxes offer protection from rain and road grime but for only a short time, only because it is soft and able to be easily removed by washing and weather conditions. Sealants offer the same protection as wax, but is made of poylmers and offers more uv protection while lasting longer. Ceramic coatings are the best protection you can put on a vehicle by offering more scratch resistance, standing up to higher heat and simply lasting longer while providing extreme gloss.
